We are back :) with another "Blog". This time we are going to share our experience of Goa,India.
Goa is an wonderful place, where everyone should go at least once.Goa is also known as "Pearl of the Orient" & "Tourist Paradise",the state of Goa is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. It is India's smallest state by area and fourth smallest by population.

Goa, a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India, the 25th state of the Union states of India, was liberated from Portuguese rule in 1961. It was a part of Union Territory of Goa, Daman & Diu till 30th May 1987 when it was carved out of form a separate state. Goa covers an area of 3702 square kilometers and comprises two Revenue district viz North Goa and South Goa. Boundaries of Goa State are defined in the North Terekhol river which separates it from Maharashtra, in the East and South by Karnataka State and West by Arabian Sea. Goa lies in Western Coast of India and is 594 Kms (by road) away from Mumbai city.

It was ranked the best placed state by the "Eleventh Finance Commission" for its infrastructure and ranked on top for the best quality of life in India by the National Commission on Population based on the 12 Indicators.Panaji is the state's capital, while Vasco da Gama is its largest city.

Goa is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture. It has rich flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghats range, a biodiversity hotspot.

Goa's seven major rivers are the Zuari, Mandovi, Terekhol, Chapora, Galgibag, Kumbarjua canal, Talpona and the Sal.

Goa features a tropical monsoon climate under the Köppen climate classification. Goa, being in the tropical zone and near the Arabian Sea, has a hot and humid climate for most of the year. The month of May is usually the hottest, seeing daytime temperatures of over 35 °C (95 °F) coupled with high humidity.

There you can find many waterfalls, springs, lakes, forts, caves, museums, mosques, temples, churches & ofcourse beaches :)  Let's start the journey!!

What To See In Goa

Here we will discussed about "WHAT TO SEE" which will surely make Goa memories long lasting.

#Waterfalls,Springs & lakes

We will start our journey with a look at the famous waterfalls, springs and lakes. As we all know, the temperature of hot as much with humidity which can irritate you but these waterfalls, springs and lakes will give you relief from it.

Lake where we visited first was-

 #MayemLake

This is the most famous lake in Goa and also one of the most popular tourist destinations on the itinerary of all the conducted sight-seeing tours.
The lake is located in Bicholim taluka in north Goa, east of the market town of Mapusa. The region, in which the lake is located, is mostly unspoilt countryside full of sleepy villages. Birdlife is plentiful here, with a variety of birds making their home on the shores of the lake.

Kesarval Spring

According to our study, the word “Kesar-val” is derived from the Indian word for eagles that used to maintain a colony here among the magnificent forested slopes. It is an nice place,we don't have enough info about kesarval because we spent little time there.

DudhSagar Waterfall

The name of "DUDHSAGAR WATERFALL" was in top of our list, every new tourist wants to go there because nothing can match the beauty of "DudhSagar Waterfall".Chennai Express movie was shoot  there too. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside. The exhuberent and spectacular waterfall is located in the Sanguem taluka.

It is about 80km from North Goa.For a group of 6-7 persons "THAR" will be the best choice and you can own them on rent in small amount because Dudhsagar's beauty and Thar's daring will make your day. :)

Our next stop in Goa was to explore the beaches for which Goa is famous,so let's explore the beaches.

Beaches

Shaped like the new moon, Goa’s beaches are known the world over. Fringed by swaying palm and coconut trees with cool and comfortable shacks offering a variety of refreshments, Goa’s 103 km coastline is blessed with the most enchanting beaches lapped by the Arabian Sea. And almost all of them are swimmer friendly with the assured presence of lifeguards on all the popular beaches.

#Anjuna beach

This beach is known for its swaying palms, soft sands and natural beauty. It has an unusual rocky formation overlying a cove of white sand and black rock that juts into the Sea.

#Baga Beach

Its scenic beauty, with the creek, the Retreat House perched on the hill and the lack of local tourist buses all have contributed to its unique beauty. It is more popular with western tourists who love to use it as a base for water sports and fishing in the area.

#Calangute Beach

Calangute is the beach to which everyone heads for the moment they land in Goa. So it is natural that it is overcrowded in both in peak and off seasons. This huge seven kilometer sweep of sand located 15 kms from Panaji, is called the ‘Queen of Beaches’. All the travel agencies and tour operators have a base here from where bookings are done for most of all the other beaches. The waves are bigger and heavier here due to the rapid drop.

#Ratings

We would like to give Goa 7 out of 0 only for night life because morning is hot as much & high temperature & humidity are the main reasons.
We would like to give 6 out of 0 to people of Goa because they don't know how to behave with tourist, their behavior was very bad, they only love to serve their best to Russianss tourist only or you can say they are racist.
Its all about our Goa's experience & it was just like 50-50 for us.We can't change them but we can only rate them but please Goa be nice with everyone, best of luck for future.
